Sonu Aziz teaches Honors Biology to gifted middle school students at The Long Island School for the Gifted, where she also serves as the Head of Academic Affairs. Sonu is a gifted education advocate and the creator and host of The Gifted PLaCe podcast featured on teachbetter.com and GiftedNYS. She is a co-writer for the GiftedNYS newsletter and serves on NAGC’s Committee for Professional Standards and more recently, NAGC's Public Policy and Advocacy Committee. She also serves on Harvard Business Review's Advisory Council. Sonu is the organizer of The Gifted Symposium- the first platform on Long Island to provide leaders in gifted education with the opportunity to share valuable research and resources with educators, parents, and students.
